ROAD TRAIN won the coveted Special Jury Prize at the 11th Melbourne Underground Film Festival.
Director Dean Francis and lead Bob Morley were at MUFF’s Closing Night Award Ceremony to accept the prestigious award.
Said Francis “Its a huge honor for ROAD TRAIN to be acknowledged in this way by the premiere Underground film event in this country. The fact that the film had a wide release in America and has found appeal within a very specific niche in its home country is testament to its capacity to transgress categorization and appeal to audiences across a broad spectrum”
Francis and Morley appeared with Festival Director Richard Wolstencroft on RRR FM’s The Party Show at midnight for a couple of hours of drinking and discussion of all things ROAD TRAIN.
